Yes, each of our rooms has a spacious and modern ensuite shower room. (no baths)
We are very fortunate to be served by two train lines into Southend. Our nearest train stations are Southend East and Thorpe Bay. For offers and info on C2C trains to Southend click the link below:
Breakfast is included in your stay. Help yourself to cereals, pastries, yoghurts, juice and we will bring you tea/coffee and your fruit plate and take your kitchen order. We try to cater for all dietary needs, just let us know of your needs in advance. Breakfast is served 0800 – 0930 ( early start? order a take out breakfast on arrival).
We have options for dairy/gluten free diets and cater for vegetarian and vegan diets too. Please let us know ahead of your stay how we can best serve you.

When we came into this industry, we were very aware just how un-environmentally friendly it can be. We wanted to do all we could to lessen the negative impact that Beaches Guest House would have on the environment. Click here to see what we are doing to help the planet.
We have one step at our front door, with a ramp access, should this be required. We have 3 ground floor bedrooms, one of which has a larger shower room. Our breakfast room is on the ground floor and is step free, with spacious access. We are happy to discuss your needs and the suitability of our accommodation with you anytime.
We are fortunate enough to have free parking (first come first served), immediately outside the guest house and for 2 blocks down. Should you be able to park on the street outside, you can use the free carp park behind the Camelia Hotel (link below).
We have one twin room on the 1st floor which offers a garden view and can be made up as a Super king bed as well.
Check in is from 1530 – 1930. We do not have a 24 hour reception, but will try to accommodate you if you are delayed or need an early check in. We can often take your bags in early, if you would prefer to arrive early and get on with your day. NEW EARLY CHECK IN SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE – Add this service to your stay for £20 and you can enjoy your room from 12pm.
Check out is 1030. We are happy to store your bags, should you wish to enjoy a little more time locally before leaving for home. WE NOW OFFER A LATE CHECK OUT SERVICE. Add this service to your stay for £20 and stay and enjoy your room until 12pm
Beaches Guest House now has an Alcohol Licence. Why not call ahead and order a bottle of your choice to be chilled and waiting in your room.

We are a strictly ‘No Smoking’ residence. I’m afraid we do not allow smoking anywhere in the Guest House and this includes the balconies and the front garden.
I’m afraid we are not currently set up to accommodate your furry friends.
We have a number of restaurants that we recommend, The Camelia Hotel, The Roslin Hotel, Ocean Beach all within a few minute walk and two Italian, a Chinese and an Indian just a 5 minute drive away. If your looking for something special, give us a call and we will be happy to guide you.
